GIFT CARD POLICY – DOWNTON HOME FURNISHINGS LTD

At Downton Home Furnishings Ltd, our Gift Cards make the perfect present for any occasion — from housewarmings and weddings to birthdays and festive celebrations. They offer the flexibility of choice, allowing your recipient to select from our carefully curated range of luxury furniture, lighting, and home accessories.

1. Purchasing Gift Cards

  • Gift Cards can be purchased directly from our website at www.downtonhome.com.
  • All Gift Cards are issued digitally via email as e-Gift Cards.
  • You may choose to send the Gift Card directly to your recipient or to your own email address for later forwarding.
  • Gift Cards are available in multiple denominations, starting from £25, up to £1,000.

2. Redeeming Gift Cards

  • Gift Cards can be redeemed online at checkout by entering the unique Gift Card code in the “Gift Card or Discount Code” box.
  • They can be used towards any full-price or sale product unless otherwise stated.
  • If the total value of the order exceeds the Gift Card amount, the balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.
  • If the total is less than the Gift Card value, the remaining balance will remain on the Gift Card for future use until expiry.

3. Gift Card Validity

  • Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Any remaining balance after the expiry date will be automatically cancelled and cannot be refunded or reinstated.
  • Expired Gift Cards will not be replaced or reissued.

4. Restrictions

  • Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
  • Lost, stolen, or deleted Gift Cards cannot be replaced, so please treat them like cash.
  • Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase additional Gift Cards.
  • Promotional discount codes cannot be applied to Gift Card purchases.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • Products purchased using a Gift Card may be returned in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • Any refund due for an order originally paid with a Gift Card will be issued back to a Gift Card balance.
  • If an order was part-paid with a Gift Card and another payment method, the refund will first be applied to the Gift Card, and any remaining balance will go to the secondary payment method.

6. Balance Enquiries

  • To check your Gift Card balance, please contact our Customer Support Team and provide your Gift Card code.

7. Downton Home Furnishings’ Rights

  • We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold a Gift Card if we believe it has been obtained fraudulently or used in violation of these terms.
  • We reserve the right to amend or withdraw the Gift Card scheme at any time, without prior notice, in compliance with applicable law.

These terms apply to all Downton Home Furnishings Gift Cards purchased from www.downtonhome.com.

  • Gift Cards are issued in GBP (£) and are only valid for use on the Downton Home Furnishings website.
  • Each Gift Card carries a unique code that must be entered at checkout to apply its value to a purchase.
  • Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. After this period, any unused balance will be cancelled.
  • Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, either in full or in part.
  • Promotional discounts or offer codes cannot be used when purchasing a Gift Card.
  • Gift Cards cannot be used to buy other Gift Cards or e-Gift Cards.
  • Lost, stolen, or deleted Gift Cards cannot be replaced or refunded. Downton Home Furnishings Ltd accepts no liability for lost or misused codes.
  • If a product purchased with a Gift Card is returned, any refund due will be reissued to a replacement Gift Card for the same value.
  • Orders paid using a Gift Card will be subject to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • Downton Home Furnishings Ltd reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Gift Card scheme at any time.
  • The Gift Card balance cannot be transferred between accounts or used across multiple currencies.
  • Use of a Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these terms.
