Check for any tight turns, staircases, or awkward spaces that may affect access.
A little preparation helps our delivery team move your furniture safely and ensures your new piece arrives in perfect condition.

MEASURE YOUR DOORWAYS

Doorways are key to a successful delivery. Use a tape measure to ensure your furniture can pass through every doorway, stairwell, or lift.
Measure height and width at the narrowest point — and remember to check banisters, low ceilings, and light fittings.
A quick measurement can save time and ensure your delivery goes smoothly the first time.

 CHECK YOUR HALLWAYS & CORNERS

Hallways and corners can be tricky with larger furniture. Move smaller items — such as shoe racks, plants, or console tables — to create a clear path.
This makes it easier for our delivery team and protects both your furniture and home from accidental knocks or scratches.

PREPARE YOUR LANDING AREA

Before your delivery, clear the space where your new furniture will sit. Remove rugs, lamps, or other pieces that may restrict access.
If you’ve chosen our White Glove Delivery Service, our delivery team will place your furniture in the desired location — please ensure there’s sufficient space to do so safely.

Measuring Tips

If our delivery team cannot safely deliver your item due to restricted access, the item may need to be returned or rescheduled.
