Robbia is a floor lamp base in dark brown wood with a square profile, giving it a strong, column-like presence with crisp edges. The deep brown tone is rich and grounding, and the timber's natural grain adds subtle movement across each face. Weighing 11.1 kg, it is one of the most substantial bases in the range, with a pleasingly solid, planted feel.
At 125 cm tall on a 23 x 23 cm footprint, it is a comfortable height for lighting a sofa end or reading chair. Its weight and square form lend it a quietly architectural quality that suits both modern and traditional rooms. The E27 lampholder takes bulbs up to 60 W (not included); the shade is sold separately and a UK plug is fitted. Try a large linen drum or a cream pleated shade.
