In matt black, the Gavi two-light floor lamp base becomes crisp and graphic, its twin lampholders drawing a strong, symmetrical outline against a pale wall. The metal is finished in a deep, non-reflective black that suits modern, industrial and monochrome interiors alike, and the paired lights give it a distinctive presence once two shades are added.
The lamp stands 149 cm tall on a compact 31 x 18 cm rectangular footprint, ideal for lighting a sofa from behind or framing a reading chair. Each E27 holder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W (not included). White drum shades make for a sharp contrast; black or charcoal shades turn it into something moodier. Shades are sold separately, and a UK plug is fitted.
