Mikkel is a floor lamp in cream bouclé, a looped textile with a soft, cloud-like texture that makes the lamp feel almost upholstered. The pale, creamy colour glows warmly when lit, turning the fabric into a gentle source of diffused light, and the tactile surface adds comfort and depth to a room even in daylight.

At 165 cm tall with a Ø40 cm footprint, it is a good height for lighting a sofa or a bed from the side without being overbearing. It is made for one E27 bulb of up to 40 W (sold separately) and has a UK plug. Cream bouclé is at home in calm, tonal schemes of ivory, sand and light oak, and it softens darker spaces too. A matching Mikkel table lamp in cream bouclé is available.
