The larger Janzur broadens its oval rattan form to 65 x 64 cm while keeping a low 30.5 cm height, giving a wide, sculptural presence overhead. Woven in dark brown, the rattan has a deep, almost tobacco-like warmth, and the open weave throws gentle patterns of light and shadow around the room.
It is scaled for a family dining table or the centre of a living room, where the wide, shallow shape spreads light generously without hanging too low. A single E27 lampholder takes up to 40 W, and at just 1.8 kg it is pleasingly light for its size. Team it with dark-stained timber, cream bouclé and aged brass for a warm, considered look, or pair it with the smaller 54 cm Janzur above a nearby kitchen counter or in an adjoining bedroom.
