Magdala is a round glass pendant, here in a warm brown glass with gold accents. The tinted glass gives the light a rich, amber-brown warmth, while the gold detail adds a polished, faintly retro glamour, so the fitting feels inviting even when it is switched off.
This is the smallest Magdala, measuring Ø30 cm and 30 cm high, which makes it ideal in a row of two or three above a kitchen island, or singly in a hallway, landing or bedroom. A single E27 lampholder takes up to 40 W; a clear filament bulb looks especially good through the brown glass. It weighs 2 kg, so it is easy to hang. Mix it with the Ø40 cm and Ø48 cm Magdala for a graduated cluster, or pair it with walnut, velvet and brass for a mid-century mood.
