At Ø40 cm wide and 34 cm high, this is the largest single-shade Mayson, a broad, round form in smoked glass finished with matt black detailing. The darker glass gives the fitting real presence even when it is switched off, and once lit it filters the bulb to a muted, atmospheric light suited to evenings at home.

Its size makes it a natural centrepiece over a round dining table or in the middle of a bedroom, and it is generous enough to light a hallway or landing on its own. Pair it with walnut, dark-stained wood or black-framed furniture for a cohesive, low-key scheme. Smaller Ø23 cm and Ø30 cm versions are available if you want to echo the look in a kitchen or bedroom.
