The larger Ryota stands 63.5 cm tall on a Ø53 cm footprint, a substantial round metal pendant in burnished brown gold. The deep, warm metallic tone has the mellow quality of aged gilt, catching the light softly rather than reflecting it sharply, and the tall proportions give the fitting a dignified, lantern-like presence. It is a design that feels richer the longer you live with it.
This size is made for rooms with some height: above a large dining table, in a stairwell or entrance hall, or at the centre of a generous living room. Brown gold works with dark timber, cognac leather, velvet and deep jewel-toned walls, and it warms up paler schemes too. A black cable keeps the line to the ceiling clean. The Ø42 cm Ryota suits smaller rooms in the same finish.
