Sarella brings the gentle, luminous quality of paper to a generously sized pendant. The Ø57 cm round shade, 45 cm high, is made from white paper combined with metal, and when lit it glows softly from within like a traditional lantern, diffusing the bulb into a calm, even light. The effect is airy and serene, with a quiet nod to Japanese design.
Hang it at the centre of a bedroom or living room, or above a dining table where a soft, sociable light is wanted. Its pale colour and light weight of 1.4 kg make it easy to place, and a cream cable keeps the suspension discreet. Pair it with pale oak, linen, wool and low furniture for a restful, Japandi-inspired room. It takes one E27 bulb up to 25 W.
