In its lowest form, Daxton becomes a 40 cm glass cube in a warm brown tint. The tinted glass has a rich, glowing depth, and the equal proportions give it a calm, block-like presence that suits floor-level display. Weighing 15.2 kg, it feels considerably more substantial than its compact size might suggest. Low plinths like this are an easy way to add a second level to a display without blocking sightlines across the room.
Place it on the floor beside a sofa or armchair to raise a large bowl, a stack of art books or a low plant, or use it in a hallway to bring a sculpture up from ground level. It looks especially striking grouped with the 80 cm and 100 cm Daxton pillars, creating a stepped run of glowing glass.
