Dumosi swaps the usual square plinth for a softly oval column in wood, finished in a deep dark brown. The rounded profile, 50 cm wide and 30 cm deep, gives it an organic, pebble-like footprint, while the rich, even colour lets the character of the wood come through without fuss. Without corners to catch, the curved sides feel friendly to brush past in a busy hallway.
At 80 cm tall it is well judged for a hallway or the space beside a sofa, lifting a lamp, ceramic or trailing plant into view. The oval shape sits neatly against a wall without the hard corners of a cube, which helps in tighter spaces. The Dumosi cabinets, in dark brown and matt black, carry the same look through a room.
