Quenza Pillars, Set of 2, in Matt Black Acacia Wood & Black, 30 x 30 x 80 + 35 x 35 x 100 cm

In matt black acacia wood with black metal, the Quenza pillars become a sleek, tonal pair with real graphic punch. The matt finish softens the depth of the black and allows the texture of the timber to register subtly in raking light. One pillar stands 80 cm tall and the other 100 cm, so together they create an instant, well-proportioned stepped display. Because the finish is matt, it hides fingerprints well and keeps reflections to a minimum.

Black pillars make brilliant backdrops for colour: try bright green foliage, cream ceramics or brass candlesticks on top. They suit monochrome schemes, Japandi-inspired rooms with pale oak and paper lighting, or darker, moodier living spaces. Position them in a hallway, flanking a doorway or in a corner, and repeat the look with the matt black Quenza console table.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid wet cloths, polishes and abrasives, which can leave marks or shiny patches on a matt black finish.
