Calima is a low, wide pouffe in dark brown leather, measuring Ø58 cm across and just 32 cm high. The rich, deep tone of the leather gives it a warm, clubbable character, and its broad, squat proportions make it feel grounded and relaxed. Weighing 10 kg, it has a reassuring weight, so it stays put when used as a footstool. Its round shape avoids sharp corners in busy rooms.
Its low height is ideal in front of an armchair or sofa, where it works as a footrest or an occasional perch, and it makes a handsome addition to a study or snug. Dark brown leather sits beautifully with tweed, wool, walnut and brass, and it pairs well with cream bouclé for contrast. Leather tends to develop character with use.
