Bukit brings together two natural fibres with very different characters: cream wool, soft and gently springy underfoot, and natural jute, with its drier, more rustic texture and honeyed colour. Together they create a rug with real tactile interest, pale enough to brighten a floor yet with an earthy warmth that keeps the look relaxed rather than precious.
The 230 x 160 cm size sits well beneath a coffee table with the front legs of a sofa and armchairs resting on it, or alongside a double bed. The cream-and-natural palette is made for oak, rattan, linen and terracotta, and suits country cottages and coastal-inspired schemes as much as calm city flats. At 7.2 kg it is easy to lift and reposition.
